Ryan Adams

Following in the footsteps of his big brother Brad was no easy task. Ryan started his racing career towards the end of the 2004 season. He watched Brad for about 2 years and from what it looked like, racing would be a piece of cake. However this couldn’t be farther from the truth. The minute Ryan hit the track, he knew filling his brothers shoes would not be an easy task. With frustration building due to a steep learning curve and a new chassis that still needed the bugs worked out, Ryan and Brad decided to switch rides for the last race of the 2005 season. When the race was over it was Ryan who carried the checked flag. The last full season Ryan would run would be the 2006 season. School and work began to take up much of his free time and racing would soon take a back seat. Since racing, Ryan and his brother Travis have competed in numerous online racing simulator events. In August 2008, a local Toyota dealership had a fastest lap contest on a NASCAR simulator in which Travis and Ryan took 1st and 2nd place and collected $500 cash. Ryan became successful in the business world working for numerous companies within the organization he worked for. In August 2011 he graduated from Old Dominion University with a bachelor of Science with majors in Criminal Justice and Sociology.
