Brad Adams
Brad started his racing career at the young age of 16 at Dixieland Speedway in Elizabeth City, NC. He was the oldest of 3 Adams boys and always had to be first to try anything amongst the brothers. He first jumped into a racecar in 2002. Not having any prior racing experience, he quickly gained the respect of most racers in his division. He eventually began to read racing magazines, setup books, and other various racing material to gain the knowledge he needed to understand the cars and know what made them drive better. On July 18, 2003 he picked up his first career victory at a dirt track. The 2004 season would prove to be a very successful season with numerous victories and eventually the track championship at the conclusion of the season. He would continue to race dirt until the end of the 2006 season when finances and the economy began putting a strain on the racing community. For the next couple years he would try out asphalt racing at Langley Speedway in Hampton, VA. He would find success driving for another team picking up a win and strong points finishes each year. With minimal control over the team decisions, sometimes the finishes did not reflect the talent level. Brad currently works with his father at Adams Automotive which also houses the Adams Racing Team vehicles.
